The name of the Riviera Cedriè the name with which you identify the stretch of the Calabrian coast. A stretch of more than 35 km from Marina di Tortora, on the border with Basilicata, southern limit of the Adriatic, which also includes some municipalities of places on the western slopes of mountains overlooking the coast. The Riviera of the Cedars takes its name from the widespread cultivation of citrus, for many centuries this culture comes practiced techniques and methods are handmade, only recently has seen the emergence of more commercial activities with the birth of an institution of the Consortium of Cedar, whose function is to enhance the production of the precious citrus calabrese.
The tourist facilities and accommodation are concentrated in the towns of Scalea, Sangineto Lido (where is located the Hotel Santa Rosa Holiday Centre), San Nicola Arcella, Diamond, Paola and Belvedere Maritime which are also the most popular destinations on the Riviera of the Cedars.
